Celebrating 30 years of successful practice, Dr. Robert Gordon is a nationally recognized forensic and clinical psychologist. He is the director of the Wilmington Institute Network [WIN] which is an outstanding international team of behavioural scientists and life coaches.
The WIN Experts' Panel is recognized for successfully applying scientific and therapeutic methods to helping families and corporations resolve conflict. Dr. Gordon is supportive of the collaborative law model for resolving issues outside of court.
Dr. Gordon has served his profession as President of the Texas Psychological Association and Chair of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. He received the Distinguished Psychologist Award which recognized his contribution to building a bridge between the disciplines of psychology and the law. He was mentored by Judge Tom Lambrose who is the architect of the summary jury trial.
Ami Gordon currently practices law in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Ms. Gordon is trained at the Wilmington Institute, and has co-authored various coaching and strategy books including 4th Quarter Winners, Why You Don't Have Time To Read This Book, One Minute Witness and On the Witness Stand.
Ami Gordon is a social entrepreneur. She is the founder of DaisyCares, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation created to provide pet food and vet care assistance to needy families. DaisyCares also reduces animal abuse through public education and awareness, including Project Kindness, a program designed to educate children about kindness to animals. Ami is also the publisher of PAWEdu, an online course designed to educate persons referred by the courts in the areas of animal welfare and kindness.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a major in cultural history, Adam Gordon received Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). He has earned a masters in English as a Second Language (ESOL). He has travelled widely to broaden his understanding of culture and language including Mexico, Europe, Russia, Canada, the Middle East, and China. He also lived and taught in South Korea and Japan for a number of years.
Adam teaches ESOL (English as a Second Language) at Richland College in Dallas. He mentors and coaches his students to communicate effectively, navigate their way to being productive members of the DFW community, and improve their social skills for American culture. He also accepts students for coaching and tutoring on a part-time basis. He does so in a manner that is respectful, comfortable, convenient and affordable. In addition to enjoying time with friends and family, Adam enjoys photography, travelling, and sports, especially OU football.
Joy Bengfort has worked in the practice of Dr Gordon in The Wilmington Institute for many years. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of Texas Arlington. She has done graduate training in Family Psychology and Counseling at Texas Women's University.
Joy has received training and certification in Parent Coordination; General, Family, and Child Protective Services Mediation; and in Neurofeedback. Joy is a Court Appointed Special Advocate in the Dallas child welfare system.
